HEALTH CARE PROVIDER PRINT ADS
The California Smokers' Helpline is pleased to make a series of 5 print ads targeting health care providers available free of charge to non-profit organizations in California wishing to place them in local publications. The ads are designed to encourage health care providers to Ask, Advise, and Refer their patients and clients who smoke to the California Smokers' Helpline. FLYER ABOUT NEW MEDI-CAL TOBACCO CESSATION BENEFITS Medi-Cal Benefits Flyer_Providers_8-11 CREATING POSITIVE TURBULENCE: A TOBACCO QUIT PLAN FOR CALIFORNIA! The California Department of Public Health, California Tobacco Control Program (CTCP), recently released Creating Positive Turbulence: A Tobacco Quit Plan for California. This plan is the result of a Cessation Summit convened in May 2009. CTCP trusts that this Plan will help guide all tobacco cessation advocates in their efforts to create a sustainable model that is deeply imbedded into the health care, behavioral health, social service, and health care provider training systems in order to promote the health of all Californians.
